Body contouring with Emsculpt!

Hi my beauties! Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite treatments for body sculpting – Emsculpt. If you're looking for a non-invasive treatment that provides amazing results, then Emsculpt might just be the solution you've been searching for.

So what is Emsculpt exactly? It's a device that induces muscular contractions, building muscle and muscle hypertrophy, giving shape, firmness, tone, and definition to the body without surgery. But here's the thing – it works differently than working out. While working out activates slow twitch muscle fibers, Emsculpt targets fast twitch muscle fibers, which can't be activated by exercise alone.

Now, you might be wondering if Emsculpt is a substitute for working out, and the answer is no. Emsculpt is for someone who wants to add definition and tone to their body. Working out and Emsculpt have different mechanisms of action, so combining Emsculpt with your regular workout routine is what will give you next-level results.

As someone who's petite and wasn't a candidate for liposuction to give my body more shape, building muscle was my only option. Before I brought the device into my practice, the company gave me an Emsculpt to try out and I tried the device for about a week on myself and my staff, and everyone had amazing results! This is how you know you have a good product – when the company will let you try it out before purchasing!

The treatment protocol for Emsculpt is four treatment sessions within two weeks, and the results last about a year. Speaking from personal experience, I did the Emsculpt series about a year ago, and the results were dramatic. Maintenance treatments can be once a month, every other month, or just before an event or vacation.

One of the questions I get asked a lot is if Emsculpt reduces fat. The answer is yes, but it wasn't studied or FDA approved for fat loss. However, you will see, on average, a 20% increase in muscular volume and a 20% reduction in fat. I prefer this method of fat reduction over liposuction because it's a more natural pathway and gives a more natural result.

Emsculpt can be used on various areas of the body, including the glutes, abdominals, biceps, triceps, quads, and calves. However, the most common treatment areas are the abs and the glutes.

There are contraindications for Emsculpt, such as metal plates, IUDs, or hernias. So, be sure to check with your doctor before starting treatment.

Finally, you might be wondering why I don't have an Emface or Neo. Neo is a skin tightening device in conjunction with Emsculpt, but I feel there are better options for skin tightening, like Thermage. As for Emface, this device doesn't make sense to me because the way it works is by increasing muscle volume in the face to smooth and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. However, botox is the gold standard for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and works by decreasing muscle volume and strength, so activating muscles would have the opposite of this effect.

Overall, Emsculpt is a fantastic non-invasive treatment for body sculpting, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for added definition and tone. For more details and to see my before and after photos check out my YouTube video below! See you next Sunday!
